e-Twinning PROJECT: LET'S WRITE EUROPEAN LEGENDS

Let's Write European Legends!

European students from Spain (2º ESO C and 2º ESO F), France, Belgium, Croatia and Romania are taking part in this e-Twinning Project called "Let's Write European Legend". The main goal is to foster the reading and writing habits, raise intercultural awareness and promoting creativity and thinking skills.  We will write a collection of European Legends.
The first step of the project is to get to know each other. The second step is to learn more about Scotland, its history, geography, culture and its ghost stories. We'll engage in collaborative activities and challenges all along the learning process. We'll also train students in collaborative writing following the Scottish example. Finally, we'll start exchanging about our own countries or region legends and myths, to then use this knowledge to write our European legends in international teams.
Here are some videos about the activity 5: Scotland and Ghost Stories.
After doing some cooperative research -together with our European partners- about such a wonderful country as Scotland (task "Discover Scotland"), we went on reading a Scottish legend by Elliot O'Donnell. We chose to read "Jane of George Street, Edinburgh" a great story about the "poor distracted spirit" of a woman.

Once we read the story, we put crayons to paper and we created some visual recaps of this captivating ghost story.
