MARCH: GENDER EQUALITY MONTH

 

Gender equality is when people of all genders have equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities. Everyone is affected by gender inequality - women, men, trans and gender diverse people, children and families.Gender equality might mean that women and men should be treated equally, or differently. For example, it may imply that women and men should be paid the same for doing the same work or that they should be treated with different medicines and methods in order to make healthcare equal.

What's the theme for International Women's Day in 2022? The theme for this year's International Women's Day is: “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.

Several activities are taking place in our high school during this month of March to focus both students' and teachers' attention on these issues.
